Cancellation & Refund Policy

This policy explains how cancellations and refunds work on CarAtoZ, a car-service booking platform operated by Vionis Technologies Private Limited at cara2z.com and via the CarAtoZ apps (the "Service"). Please read it together with our Terms of Service.
The short version: Booking on CarAtoZ is free. You can cancel an appointment from the app before the service starts at no charge. CarAtoZ does not collect the service payment — you pay the service center directly — so any charge or refund for the actual work is handled by that service center.
1. Booking is free
Creating a booking on CarAtoZ does not require any payment to CarAtoZ. A booking is a request for an appointment slot at an independent service center; no money is charged by us to make or hold a booking.
2. Cancelling a booking
- You can cancel a booking from the CarAtoZ app at any time before the service has started — open the booking and choose to cancel.
- There is no cancellation fee charged by CarAtoZ.
- As a courtesy, please cancel as early as possible so the service center can free the slot for other customers.
- A service center may decline or reschedule a booking (for example, if a slot becomes unavailable). If that happens you can simply book another slot or another center.
3. Payments and refunds for the service
- Payment for the service is made directly to the service center (for example, at the center after the work is done). CarAtoZ does not currently collect service payments through the app.
- Because we do not collect that payment, any refund, adjustment, or dispute about the service charge is handled by the service center in line with their own policy and applicable consumer-protection law.
- Estimates and "Smart Service Check" cost ranges in the app are indicative only; the final bill is set by the service center after inspecting your vehicle.
4. If CarAtoZ ever charges you directly
If, in future, CarAtoZ collects any amount directly through the app (for example, a booking fee, deposit, or in-app payment), then for that amount:
- eligible refunds will be processed back to your original payment method;
- approved refunds are normally completed within 5–7 business days, subject to your bank or payment provider's processing time;
- the specific terms shown at the time of that payment will apply.
This section does not apply today, since the app does not collect service payments — it is stated for transparency in case paid features are added later.
5. Offers and discounts
Offers and discounts are provided by individual service centers and are subject to their terms, validity dates, and availability. A center may change or withdraw an offer; CarAtoZ is not responsible for honouring an expired or withdrawn offer.
6. How to request help
If you cancelled a booking and were charged in error, or you have a question about a refund, email us with your registered mobile number and booking reference and we will help coordinate with the service center:
